W.I.R.E. is an independent think tank in Switzerland which analyses global developments in trade and industry, society and the life sciences. The focus is on new markets, technologies, social trends and business models. The aim is to critically examine established points of view and to create transparency through the publication of studies and books, and by holding events on selected subjects. On the basis of an interdisciplinary research approach, W.I.R.E. acts as a laboratory for the exchange of ideas and information between the theoretical and practical worlds and as a platform for a variety of players from business, society, research and politics.
